Nomination for comic of the week 7/23/2008

Postby Starlord » Thu Jul 24, 2008 9:03 pm

Last weeks winner is: Final Crisis: Rogue's Revenge #1

Now give us those noms for this week!
"I wish you enough sun to keep your attitude bright.
I wish you enough rain to appreciate the sun more.
I wish you enough happiness to keep your spirit alive.
I wish you enough pain so that the smallest joys in life appear much bigger.
I wish you enough gain to satisfy your wanting.
I wish you enough loss to appreciate all that you possess.
I wish enough "Hello's" to get you through the final "Good-bye.."

Brave & the Bold #15 (which under Waid has pretty much been my default pick whenever it comes out, but this issue especially rocked; great Nightwing usage :-D 8) )

I nominate nothing. Nothing I read this week deserves a nod. :(

Done. I had dropped the book, along with many others, after the first arc because of sudden financial crisis. Goddman research money got delayed. But I'm back to burning through taxpayer money again, so there's nothing stopping me from buying more goodies.

I'll nom Uncanny X-Men #500, although DC seems to be about the only thing that wins around here (which isn't saying much when only ten or so people vote any give week).

Thunderbolts #122, but Immortal Iron Fist #17 and Daredevil #109 are also worthy contenders.

New Avengers #43

I actually felt something for the featured character. That's something I didn't think would be possible before I read this issue.

It was a good read. :)

I'm going to second this.

Only a couple of more hours and I'm raising my poll!

You've been warned.
