I was starting to wonder when DC's parent company was going to be like, "Hey! What's going on down there?".

But then I thought about the success of "Dark Knight Rises" and "Man of Steel" (which both blew chunks with corn) and all the people who post pics on tumblr of all the DC titles they bought that Wednesday, they really don't have a reason to care. The sucky books can keep sucking, the good creators can leave the good titles and all the foot-in-mouth bad PR can keep happening; as long as the money is rolling in, who cares.

No, they don't exist as they have not yet been made. Hard to make a title without a creator. Unless they take the idea and run with some one else... like here it could be Rob Liefeld. Whenever some creator of talent bails out.. insert Rob Liefeld.

They had a creator. He posted in this very thread.

And if there's ONE THING DC has taught me in the last few years, it's "Fuck creators in the ear holes, who the fuck needs those guys? We have fucking EDITORS, man!"

:-D

DC is kinda rapey to creators.

It's funny considering the history of DC. It's sort of like the sixties prior to Infantino being put in charge. Just more fucked up and rapey... drunk...

DC Comics rapes comic creators, only leaves a dime on the dresser.

You're 100% right about this.

What I can't figure out is why this stuff sells so well.

Unfortunately, Didio cut it in half first, so he only got a half penny.

Isn't Miss Talon (I can never remember her name) native American? I remember there was some back story about her not being wealthy.

But, hey, don't judge DC's apparent lack of minorities too harshly. It's biggest name character is a minority!

Bruce Wayne / Batman!

He's one of the f---ing 1% !!!! :groucho:
Luthor, too! C'mon, guys! And as far as minorities go, that group definitely considers itself "persecuted and oppressed."

At the country club:

Bruce: The people of Gotham don't appreciate what a favor I'm doing for them. I create jobs, dammit!

Lex: Yes. The ingrates of Metropolis are no different. I pay their salary, without which they'd die like the inferior vermin they are. They owe me their lives. I give them their lives.

Vandal Savage: Nothing has changed in 100,000 years. The biggest outrage is paid sick leave. If you're sick, how is that my responsibility? Take better care of yourself. At least the United States supports me on this. Europe is hopeless.
