Captain Marvel comes to the new DCU: Geoff Johns and Gary Frank will working on a new Curse of Shazam back up in Justice League.

Geoff Johns announced today at the DC All Access: Justice League Panel that he and Gary Frank will be working on the Curse of Shazam, a second story that will be featured in every issue of Justice League beginning in Justice Leauge #5.  Action Comics will also feature additional bonus material to help offset the $3.99 price point.

I don't like that title, as it brings up a rather negative connotation that makes me think they are going to be going a darker route than I'd prefer with the characters.

I wish someone else was in charge of the Captain Marvel characters, maybe Roberson. And I wish it wasn't in it's own book.

This is in Justice League, not Action, but the headline of the first post still says Action. You guys should fix that.

As bad as Johns has been lately the words Gary Frank and Shazam are enough for me to want to read that book.
