The feral mutant will also do his best not to murder a bunch of orphans.
On Friday at their "Amazing Wolverine and the Wolverine X-Men Feat. Wolverine" panel at New York Comic Con, Marvel announced that Richard Isanove would be taking over as writer and artist on Savage Wolverine, widely regarded as the seventeenth most important current ongoing Wolverine series. Set in the 1930s, the book will see Marvel's number one mutant, at that time a Canadian bootlegger, taking a group of orphans on the run from angry mobsters in the Midwest. We sat down with Isanove for a brief fake interview to address the obvious element in the room.
The Outhouse: So Wolverine is taking charge of a bunch of orphans. Is that a good idea?
Richard Isanove (sweating): Yeah, uh... I'm not sure what you mean.
OH: Don't play coy. Will Wolverine murder these orphans.
RI: What? No. Of course not. No.
OH: Come on.
RI (loosening his collar): I don't know why you would think that. Why would he do that? He's like a father to them!
RI: Ok, he kills them all. You've spoiled it. Are you happy?
Isanove's four part run begins in Savage Wolverine #14, in stores in January.
