So because Marvel cosmic was awesome, it means everything D&A does is awesome. Fallacy of logic. Even Spielberg has clunkers and films that don't work on all cylinders.

Never actually read that. I missed the first two issues (got 3-12) but for some reason at the time, those two issues were hard to find and were commanding high prices, so I never got them and hence didn't read the rest of it. Always meant to see if I could get them or buy the trade but never got round to it....

The New Deadwardians was just Dan and what you stated makes no sense. And I think D&A did good work on Marvel Cosmic, but, it was awesome because of Giffen.

You're seemingly trying to sell me on three creators who have disappointed me in the past, then mocking me because I didn't read something they collaborated on together.

I've never been crazy of Giffen's post-1983 stuff. D&A haven't quite rocked my boat. Excuse me if I didn't want to read something they did together.

I'm willing to check some Marvel Cosmic trades out if I can find them (preferably cheap), but I'm not holding my breath that I'll be knocked over by them.

As a matter of fact, I bought issues 1, 2 and 12 last year, 1 was 8 bucks I think and 12 was 10 or 11 bucks. There's a HC now, that should be really easy to get. Issue 11 is probably one of my favorites.

Didn't realise Force Works was DnA - it was awful. Shows how enthralled I must have been to not even notice who wrote it.
Still, it was the beginning of a low point generally for Marvel when they managed somehow to turn their entire line to shit.

I was mostly out of comics around that time. Didn't really come back until the threeboot was up and running. Thought I had mentioned that a long time ago.

I did read the Legion of the D***ed thing DC put out about a year ago. Been waiting on Legion Lost to come out in TPB.

That was really when it was making bad decisions like buying Fleer and Malibu and Heroes' World (I think it was HW).

And the news just isn't getting any better, sales wise. The #0 issue did squat for the book, in fact the sales now lower than the issue BEFORE the #0 issue.

The Levitz nostalgia trip has been a total failure. Unless the rumors are true about writing Legion being part of his severance package for leaving the DC president's office (or whatever his official title was), then I can't DC keeping him on if doubling down with Giffen fails. I can't see DC trying to save the book, either.

Yeah, there is a distinct difference in Levitz's writing style between "LSH" and "Worlds' Finest". Kind of like the difference between Johns' "Justice League" and "Aquaman". WF has been a slow burn but then he'll do something fun like last issue's fight between Huntress and Damian.
