One Thing I Enjoyed About the First Winter Soldier Arc

Postby Stephen Day » Fri May 18, 2012 10:00 pm

Well, it's one of many things actually, but I really liked the way Doom came across as a credible threat, much more so than I've seen him come across in years in fact. The fight he had with Bucky a couple of issues ago is a good example of this. It was obvious from what was drawn on each panel as well as from Bucky's internal monologue that Bucky had to use all his skills to deal with Doom.

I've been a fan of Bucky since Brubaker brought him back, but this was really kinda boring for me. :-( I'm ready for the next arc.

I'd put it behind Daredevil, but it's a close second

If you liked this Stephen then you'd love the Books of Doom mini Brubaker did a few years ago.
