Hulk: The End is good? There's a book shop downtown that has it for cheap-as-fuck.

I honestly don't even remember any prelude books. But yeah, love Planet Hulk. The end set up WWH really well as I wanted to see him mop the floor with the Illluminati.

Planet Hulk is one of my favorite Hulk stories. I waited for the trade to come out and enjoyed it immensely.

The end of PAD's return was the issue after the House of M story arc.

It's still a cool issue, though I'm still trying to figure out....

I'm the only one who thinks Planet Hulk is overrated.

I'd only ask you to consider the few years worth of Hulk issues before Planet Hulk...I guess minus the PAD issues that I obviously missed as I dropped out during the Jones run.

Jones run started out decent but floundered. However I thought Planet Hulk was very cliched. The slave to gladiator to king cycle has been done much better especially by Robert E. Howard. It was just not interesting to me.

I really wasn't enthused by the concept myself, but the incorporation of characters like the Brood and the stone guy from Thor's origin kept me in. I didn't regret it...I thought it was as well done as the idea would allow. I get where you're at with the cliche, but I found it rose above the expectations.

The Jones run crashed after JR jr left. Too much man on the run and not enough smash.

A friend lent me his copy along with WWH. I was such a bad-ass read. I truly felt like one of those Colosseum watchers cheering for more beat downs and destruction. And it got me pumped for WWH as I cheered with every ounce for him to take his revenge on Earth's heroes when he returned.

Benderbrau: Emma, you could learn a thing or two from Greg. Greg does threesomes. That's bi done right.

I'll probably dig out my WWH comics next time I'm at my brother's. I enjoyed that series a lot.

I did see WWH trades for cheap too.
