The Twins story was interesting enough. I would have preferred a Cloak and Dagger story but I'll take it.

The Ultron story was great and pretty. I cant wait for that one.

The Dr Strange story was well ... Strange. I liked it though.

The less said about Scarlet Spider the better, even if the story was kinda interesting. Bland but interesting.

AoA story was the one I thought was the best. Something about all those characters being heroes instead of the villains that we normally know them as. I think it has potential.

you do realize there are more Novas then just Richard right??

Except, there aren't.

When Rich got locked off in the Cancerverse, they went out of their way to say he took the entire Nova force with him and that Worldmind was unable to create any new Novas or power the existing one and the Nova Corps was done. So either he came back, he is the Nova in the book, or there was somehow a new source for the Nova force, none of which was addressed, and this being Loeb I wouldn't expect a logical explanation.

Technically that is only partially true. All of the active Nova Corps members that were recruited after Secret Invasion were depowered in order to boost Richard's powers when he entered the Cancerverse, however there are still at least two other characters with the Nova Force, Garthaan Saal the Supernova and Malik Tarcel. Saal "rescued" Tarcel during the Kree/Shi'ar War, so it is possible that they are still out there. I am not saying that the Point One Nova is either one of those two, just that the potential exists that there are other characters out there with the Nova Force.

I don't know why but I really don't believe that this Point One Nova is Richard Rider. Believe me, I want Richard Rider to come back, almost more than any other character but I am more inclined to believe that it is his brother who has somehow retained a portion of the Nova Force.

I forgot about those two guys. Good call.

I thought that Nova looked awesome.

Anyway. I got this on a whim and it did the one thing I was hoping it wouldn't ... get me interested in future Marvel stories. *sigh* Just when I thought I was out, they pull me back in.

So I just read it..

Um..

1. That looks nothing like Richard.

2. I like the design.

3. It looks like a teen Nova, which would make the epic fail more sensical.

Yeah, I guess I don't really get the seething hate for the new look. Loeb certainly gives me pause, but I'm at a "wait and see" stance with this.

I'm still a month behind and maybe always will be... but I did flip through my issue.

Was wondering for those who read it... any guesses as to what the Yin and Yang story will lead to? Saw this at CBR...

Fred Van Lente on Coldmoon and Dragonfire is that rare feet of a brand new, full on origin story for new characters in the Marvel U. What can you say about the next step for these two moving forward?

Alonso:
I can’t really say anything about where these two will appear next without spoiling future announcements.
