PRJ continues to be a really enjoyable and unpredictable read. There really is no other comic out there like this, it’s just strange, and with this issue, it got even stranger. We jump forward a lot in time with this issue, and by the end of it, Chris, aka Jesus 2 is 9 years old. Chris seems like a very interesting character, he’s a good kid, but I can see how the events of this issue and his mother will cause him to become a Punk. The little bits about the media manipulating things, like not allowing Chris to date a Black Girl are very disturbing and probably all too real. But it’s the scene at the very end that effected me, Gwen dreams trying to commit suicide, but is saved by an Angel, and then… wakes up with hand marks on her where the Angel grabbed her. Are Angels real? What is going on? I really have no clue. Murphy’s art is as brilliant as usual, the dude is amazing.
