It's not "indy" per se, but I recently discovered Rocketeer Adventures and have really loved it. It's an anthology series with three 8-page stories per issue by various well-known creative teams. There was one four-issue miniseries last year and they are currently three issues into a follow-up, four-issue mini.

I've been wondering about this series myself, and incredibly cheap kicks ass!

Saga only has 3 issues so far and Brian Vaughn is great.

American Vampire is great and should be read by everyone.

Irredeemable and Incorruptible are both getting their final trades very very soon, so you could read those and get closure on them.

DMZ just ended and the last trade is out soon.

The Pinocchio Vampire Slayer books are simple and fun, and the last one is out in August. Quick reads, but very fun.

Based on your taste, I think you'd really enjoy Essex County if you haven't read it.

If you like I, Vampire right now, the same writer did a great PI story a couple years ago called Tumor. I know Amlah is a fan, and he's the one that suggested it to me.

If you like Jason Aaron, Scalped is ending soon so now would be a good time to read that. And The Other Side is probably still my favorite thing he's written.

Astro City is consistently one of the best superhero stories any time they get together and do new stuff. It's just a great look at superheroes from interesting angles and filled with awesome characters.

Fatale just started and the first arc just ended. It's not the best Bru/Phillips book, but it's good.

iZombie ends soon and is very fun. I think you'd definitely enjoy that book.
