I can understand you not liking it, but the worst comic of the year? There are other comics that deserve that award far more than Avengers Arena #1.

I think the thing that is killing me THE MOST about this series is actually just Reptil.

Like… Why did you have to put REPTIL in there?

He, out of ALL of the kids in there, had THE MOST FUCKING POTENTIAL OUT OF ALL OF THEM!

He could have joined ANY FUCKING TEAM coz he was READY to join any fucking team.

HE WAS IN THE INITIATIVE, LEAST WE FORGET!

I read AA for a while, I thought it was a strong book but I never really got into it that much. I know some people here REALLY liked it and often said it was the best Avengers book on the stand.

Mettle just wasn't interesting to me, I mean you had Reptil, taskmaster's daughter, the lightning kid and hazmat who were all fairly interesting, and then you had Mettle who was like a really boring version of Collossus.

if i’m really being honest with myself while I really want the deaths of avengers arena to be retconned what I really need is for hank pym to come find the island and beat the shit out of arcade while tigra and company get the kids off

Looks like these crazy posts are actually drying up now, because now that people have read the comic, rather than seen spoilers out of context, they've seen that it's a pretty fucking good read.

There's lots of 'You know, this isn't bad' Tumblr posts now.

So, there's a lesson for all you dweebs, wait until a comic actually comes out before flipping your bi-curious wigs over it.
