Usually I am all for movies getting people to the source material (i.e. Wanted, Watchmen, Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy), but here I see the book leading her to the show. It is a nifty bit of irony.

I don't know about irony, it's the primary reason why licensed comics exist.

After I finish the Flash Gordon serial I'm watching, I might track down the first Muppets season as well.

You're not allowed to come back and say 'April Fools' on that, I just added it to the SoD and our column. :wink:

Muppets ended up with a 6.76 putting it just .05 behind Tiny Titans, that's a pretty good score from us on an all-ages book.

I am disappointed in myself. From what I read of the previews of the book, it was a fun little book. Not necessarily my cup of tea, but throughout the week it grew on me every time I thought about it. While, I didn't read the whole issue and cannot give it a full review, I regret not doing so.

I did so, mostly out of money concerns.

But, hey, I am onboard for The Flash: Rebirth, so see you dudes later today.

Just got my shipping list from MOC so I should be able to post a review for this in around a week.

Just purchased the first season of this should go hand in hand nicely... I've missed the muppets.

Ok just a quick review to mess with the spreadsheet.

Muppets #1

This was a nicely written faced past comic version of the Muppet show. I'm not sure if the transition from Tv to comic was done well enough to keep me entertained, and it's very hard to give everyone some panel space in a short comic, but we have another 3 issues I'm sure everyone will get a few jokes or at least lines. To me this seemed more like a one-shot than a beginning to a mini, and I think it was a tad bit wordy for a comic aimed at the younger audience.

I've always loved the Muppets and I think that's why I held this to such a high standard, that being said I'm a sucker for the humor that the Muppets are known for. This book was a good fun read.
