If it makes you feel better, I threw mine in the recycle bin so there's one less copy out there for speculators to fight over. :P

Or give it to a homeless guy and tell him to eBay it if he's so goddamn hungry!

Recycling the comic book doesn't get the tree back you fucking kindle lover.

At least if you gave it to a kid it could have found a happy home, instead of being read by an unappreciative snot who decided it would be better to kill it dead.

And there are a few comics available for the Kindle and the thing I here from every kindle person I know is that it is not the same, books are fine, but comics not so much.

WE are at least three generations of ereaders away from them being a threat to comics, and as long as the devices remain horribly expensive, they will not win out, comics are supposed to be cheap entertainment, a $600 entry fee is not cheap.

Maybe so, but when we have a viable digital distribution platform for comics we will be able to order whatever the fuck we want without dealing with your poor ordering manager.

3 generations = 3 years

And generally the people who are stuck on paper are the people who grew up with paper. If comics are ever going to grow back to a point where readership is in the millions they are going to have to be able to reach a younger readership who aren't going to more accustomed to dealing with digital media on a day to day basis.

Those kids are already reading comics, they aren't going to want to pay for them...
DC and Marvel did a better job then the RIA at staying ahead of piracy (and more importantly going after the piraters with cease and desist order, not grandmas whose kids were just utilizing programs for millions of dollars)...

The digital revolution is a paradigm shift in income and the Comics companies have already shown that they are incapable of keeping up with the changes in printing and will easily fall on old gimicks to generate "different" (not new) avenues of revenue.
