Immonen's Runaways wishes it was Rulk. I still can't believe...
she fucking killed Old Lace.
I'm giving it until the end of the arc, but I almost hope it is canceled so that I don't have to make the decision to drop it.

I wasn't admonishing Rulk.
I don't dislike this run as much as you do of Runaways, in fact, I think something may be wrong with your fun barometer, the issue with the prom was hella fun.

no. it requires me finding them and that will make me relive the longest comic book in the history of the world.

The Chief was so repellent and he looked like old fat Raymond Burr.

I guess I will add it to my shortbox of bad Doom Patrol which is right next to my longbox of good Doom Patrol.

All I remember about that issue is
the goddamn dead dinosaur at the end.
I don't care if I was the only person enjoying Terry Moore's run, I want him back on the book. :x

Speaking of peg legs, did anyone else catch GOSD calling MrBlack "Rama-trash" in one of the Asylum threads?

Yeah, not like GOSD doesn't relive his old 'rama days like a girl over her senior year in high school or something!

The Newstand has been dead so I wandered over.

I won't lie and say that I wasn't tempted to check out the Immonen's run when it started but god damn i am glad i didn't... I learned my lesson twice... this is BKV's book and no other can come close... the only way I would ever buy another Runaways book is if he comes back.

I do that, and hardly anyone posts, like my Ghost Riders thread, people are more interested in complaining about Reed Richards looking buff than actually talking an actual comic.

Maybe we should have a weekly Bought/Thought thread like Millarworld and Jinxworld.

I almost always do it too, regardless of the outcome. You just never know. I know you do often, my point being if we all posted a couple eventually after a few weeks it might pay off with brisker traffic, more responses overall.

But I only buy a few books a week, usually. And I know no one else is buying the BOOM! PKD adaptation. Not much to say about that one except, damn this is fantastic!

As to the Reed buff thing, the mantra of the internets is These things never turn out like you expect--but it's all good as long as people are reading and interacting. You might THINK all they are doing is quacking about Reed looking like Tom Strong, but you really have no way of measuring how many people have read the thread and considered the book. In a way, you are like the creator worrying over his audience response, which I know from the related thread that you want comic book writers to just put it out there--you should do the same in your life too. It isn't so different.
