I don't have a problem with anyone disliking anything, i am just saying that I liked it and why... you guys are totally entitled of being wrong :D

I'm pretty sure he gave it a 12 last week when he nominated it.

Not in this comic.

I dunno who started that Messiah comic junk, Wed Comix is clearly a book that some people will love and some people won't like at all. It's an experiment.

This book came with an audience already.

Which only helps with the messiah stuff. This one is being raised from the dead, quite literally and figuratively.

Nope, I reserve my right to change my mind. I doubt I will, but I might.

Not quite sure what you mean by that, since I tend to actually read the books I talk about.. unlike some people. :P

In the case of RULK, I read the first arc. Was crap. I've been reading an issue here or there in my LCS every now and then to see if it's gotten any better, and I've yet to see it do so.

Objectivity, ladies and gentlemen! Sort of. Maybe. But I doubt it.

Yep. I expected many reviewers to pitch their scores a couple points higher than me (and you) and maybe give it a 7.5-8, but the near-perfect scores surprised me.

Does no one else subtract a full point for that logo?!

The thing is.. nobody is asking for any extremes like that.

Look at Ultimates 2 as an example. The events of Ultimates 1 were acknowledged. We saw what's been going on with all the characters since then. We got a setup of the general direction Ultimates 2 was headed in. All in one issue. And it was much better than this.

We're not as shallow as you.

but that was a sequel and this is a relaunch... I see your argument and we just disagree I guess and that is fine. Maybe I am more okay with them trying to move on from Loeb's clusterfuck... did I get all the answers I needed? Maybe not, but I got enough to make sense of things and enjoy this book for what it was.

Damn this is the most I have posted in one of these review threads and I don't even like Millar that much.

It's still taking part in the same continuity, though. It's a relaunch in name only.
