Deist.

I was hoping you were going to say you liked Vic's albums, that's another loss. But at least now I know you must've missed my earlier post about it last month and weren't giving me the cold shoulder. :)

I like what I have heard and he wrote songs for a coupl eof bands I like, but I would be lying if I said I was super versed.

And I have been busy recently and not as good as reading the thread thoroughly, I'm sorry. :(

Good choice. Number 1 issue of a new brand. And it's by known creators.

Regrets.

There are always regrets.

And the older you get, the more there are.

Is there Batman in it? The non-Batman parts teased are so much better than Bangbang-Batman in the Doc Savage one shot.

I'm willing to give him another chance, but he's not what I'm buying the book for. And hopefully he'll do something worthwhile with the pistols, like actually shoot people.

Well yeah, he should definitely pull out and not come inside him.

For me I just want to ee how they pull off the pulpy super heroics of just the people without any real powers. The classic adventurers where you could easily have people like the Question or the original Blue Beetle show up.

Though for the moment the cast is pretty awesome.

First Wave #1
selected by doombug[/center]Written by BRIAN AZZARELLO
Art by RAGS MORALES

DC's shocking new pulp universe is finally unveiled! In the shadows of the War, the roots of the Golden Tree cabal grew deep into the heart of a fallen world… and the leaders at the heart of this secret organization see no place in their utopia for heroism. Doc Savage, struggling with the loss of his father, has been blind to their advance – until now. Central City's mysterious Spirit has caught wind of their plans as well. But whose side have the Blackhawks chosen? What is the Red Right Hand? And where is the Batman? Eisner Award winner Brian Azzarello (100 BULLETS, JOKER) and superstar Rags Morales (IDENTITY CRISIS) craft a DC universe like you've never seen before! It's a world with no supermen, only mortal men… Death can come at any moment, and adventure can still be found at every corner of the map! Will Doc Savage be the first to lead the coming world or the last to be crushed under its heel?

DC Universe | 40pg. | Color | $3.99 US

HEY!

Don't assume because I am old that I prefer the classic stuff...I like virgins, too!
