Scott Pilgrim wouldn't be a bad choice but it would be hard for those that hadn't read the previous 5 volumes.

I think once you open it to what's essentially a tpb it leaves everyone open to doing so, which would kill the group. We tried a GN group and few participated because most people don't want to be a big book they aren't interested in already.
