Well I don't know that any of the writers are from NC, so maybe the Newsstand would be better?

I just threw one in the damn asylum and offered a free pass... we'll see.

now, back on subject.

You are stupid for not liking Superboy.

Read Essex County then read Superboy #1 again. It's a cumnilative experience.

Really? It seems lame to me.

I read the first arc...completely made me confident in adding Detective Comics to my Pull list when Snyder come on with JOCK.

American Vampire is pretty fantastic. It's arguably one of the best comics out today.

Jock alone was enough for me, adding a writer who has done stuff this good seemingly out of nowhere is just a cherry on the cake.

I don't think American Vampire is hipster-ish much at all.

I didn't read Superboy, so the jury's out on that one :P

I did read Incognito, which I will do a review for sometime

I was gonna go with Chew (which is way more hipster than AV, IMO) but I don't think AV has been done before where Chew has, or Amazing Spidey, but that definitely gets reviewed a lot, despite it being a new era of sorts this time.
