You have a very dry wit and so that's probably an insult.

It was good money for the couple days I barely left the house and the power was out half the time, and some of the issues sold to some really interesting people.

The last of my runs at auction ended very recently, so if $75+ for 5 comics sounds good to anyone else you may consider going for it.

no I'm being serious. Making that kind of money off of comic books today is really great.

Well thanks! I was a little sad when it was all over, although I still hope to sell the rest of the deathbags someday. Other books to keep an eye on, Who Is Jake Ellis? #1 and Infinite Vacation #1 both of which you might at least triple your money now but both have great buzz and who knows down the road?

Both Iron Man #500 and the Legion of Super-heroes Annual sold as well in the comic book realm, they were both decent reads but impulsive buys and I was happy to break even or just a little better on them.

I seriously need to get smart with this comic book speculating. I have a wedding to pay for and no one will complain if I can profit here.

I bought an extra copy of the death-bag, but I've been hanging onto it for a rainy day.

I think the deathbags will pay off down the road, but it's a shame if you weren't following FF in singles up to now. :-D I actually sold some of my total Hickman run a while ago, sure would have been interesting to see what his full run on FF would do plus deathbag.

If anyone's got them.

BTW Christian et al---the signed Hickman black logo variant goes for approx $300 last I checked, and there are two types of deathbags. One is easily transparent when held up to a strong light, the other is less transparent but still I believe the black logo could be discerned from the blue logo if you have a keen eye and judge of color values through it when held up to the same strong light. (because I bought deathbags from several shops I have or had both types of plastic bags--and no winners, I fear.) Most comics shops are too dimly lit or diffusely lit to tell in the LCS unless they will let you test them.

No biggie! I get all my books DCBS anyway, so I'll probably just as soon be taken right back off. I do try and do reviews when I can though

Now that you're Vicious Squid, I suggest you go a little punk and rename yourself Squid Vicious.

Oh, and I can't believe anyone would pay even 50 cents for a Hickman death bag.

Back to my roots, eh? I like it.

I can't wear combat boots anymore though, I have to wear running shoes or my feet hurt. :-(
