So I enjoyed this book a lot. I fully understand the complaints but I would also say that past the first few pages I didn't really see a place to laugh at. It's a dark book that isn't completely serious. The art is amazing in this book which we've already covered. And while self contained I see this book going lots of places and I look forward to seeing where it goes.

Now the sad part. I wont be reading this monthly, or at least till I get back on my feet. On wednesday last week I was informed that my contract for next year has not been renewed. So in 87 days I have no job and about a week after that we'll be homeless. I am doing everything in my control to make sure neither of those things happen and am sending out about 3 job applications a day. So this was my last major box of comics coming for a while. And anything I review I will be doing as a pirate so I hope you guys can look passed it as someone who has contributed for so long. This is where I'm at in my life. I may start an actual thread sometime in the future if this start looking good or look a lot worse but for now I'm fine with it here.
Oh crap, I'm sorry to hear about the tough times ahead for you man.

Thank you Troy for the sig

That sucks, I'm sure you and your wife will get back on track soon.
Unless she leaves you, then you're screwed.
Kidding.

Yoni, seriously, if you need anything, drop me a line. Don't know what I can do to help, but I'll do it if I can.

thanks guys, we're cutting back on as much as possible. I dropped comics two months ago and wont restart till I feel like I can. Might also be selling off what I can new x-men omnibus is getting listed soon. Killing the direct tv in few days to try and get what I have on the DVR onto my computer. Thankfully I'm done with my masters and I'm just hoping we find something. A day I'm not sending out an application is a day I'm not doing my job for my family.

Yikes. Best of luck, Yoni.
The witness said Mr Brown then called out to Ms Hay's adult daughter: "Look at this, I'm tittie-f***ing your mother!".

I know, but honestly, I feel good at the fact that I have like 15 applications out there in the last 2 weeks.

Only if you give them $15-$25 a year, and even then they aren't very good friends.

BB#1 is now solidly in the $20-$25 range for a NM copy.
Message bought to you by the MGS. And don't forget Nonplayer this week.
PS By now the British branch of the MGS should be preparing to snatch up every copy as soon as they hit the shoppes Wednesday! Punchy had better get there the night before and sleep in the washroom overnight after they lock up.

How dare you imply I'm in the MGS.
Speculating is wrong.

Oh no, we have a rule for that in the charter. You misunderstand. I'm saying otherwise they will beat you to the er, punch.
