I won't be reviewing this week pick this week, but I will be reviewing it.

I friend of mine let's me borrow the monthly issues he buys and I let him borrow mine. This arrangement let's us read more stuff than either of would be able to alone. Anyway, he's told me that he's going to be getting Emperor Aquaman. He usually give me the stuff he's loaning me in one big mass once every two or three weeks. I should be able to write my review sometime by the end of this month.

So...besides the matter of next week's pick, Christian, do you or Jude know what's up with john lewis hawk?

But also do I need to find a couple good suggestions for a probable poll?

guitarsmashley wrote:That was literally the greatest comic I've ever read. It may even surpass Top 10 as my favorite comic of all time. The art of course is masterful but obviously that was expected since Tony Bedard couldn't write a convoluted/trite/ script if he even tried. I look back at some of the books we've "liked" over the years and this book easily surpasses stories like 4 eyes, nextwave and of course Blackest Night. This is just a masterful comic in a truly unique story that will be remembered how it changed the industry and the way we read and enjoy comics.

10

my real score is 4. Pretty much read that review and do the opposite

Still no word on hawk I guess. I stopped by one of the shops near me but they must've sold out of this book. Depending on where I'm at this weekend I'll try to find it somewhere else.

Flashpoint Emperor Aquaman #1

This is a perfect example of how the DC hate around here has blinded you to what is actually a rather entertaining book. I'm on the fence about this whole Flashpoint thingy to be honest but I do know when a piece of the pie is done well, and this story is seasoned nicely. Some well polished art with a competent and enjoyable story gave me my monies worth.

Story:8
Art: 8
My Score: 8

I wanna pick next week! Hawk or the lame poll can have my week if he ever comes back and I'll be ever so good and might even read Emperor Namor.

Squid, feel free to find some suggestions for the poll. That's probably going to happen.

Ok I haven't had a chance to look, I just got back from the Bexley Library sale where I got a brand new copy of Up Up and Oy Vey for 50 cents as well as some signed books including George Takei and 100 of the earliest Dragon magazines for about 10 cents each.

I mention this to you, BS, because of course everything they have left is free Sunday at 1 PM.
