Holy fuck what an issue, review will come tonight or tomorrow but I'll score it right now as a 10. This issue ends one of the best runs on a batman title I've ever read. Snyder is on fire.

I remember picking up Scott Snyder's first issue of Detective. I only gave it a shot becuase of the praise American Vampire was getting. What a great choice that was. I love me some Grant Morrison on Batman but ever since Snyder has been on this book it was the better Bat book that month. Isue #880 caused me to scream out holy sh!t twice during the book. I was so excited to read this issue, it was everything I hoped for. I loved that both Jock and Francesco Francavilla did art on the book. Everything came together. I look forward to seeing what Snyder does writing Bruce. But for now an amazing historic run.

Weird week next week. No point in picking DC because of the relaunch, everything at Marvel is mid-arc and the larger indies aren't offering up anything even remotely interesting. As such, I guess I'll pick the RG's first Radical selection...

After a violent incident in their shared past forces the lives of brothers Frank and Henry Lincoln to diverge, each carries on with his own brand of justice. Frank, who is very close to retirement, has spent his life becoming a distinguished member of the San Francisco police force. After 35 years, these brothers are brought together again by the murder of a Russian mafia boss in the city by the bay.
