I'll be honest, as much as I love the Doctor, I've never really been able to get into his comics. They always feel like a cheap imitation and the stories are almost always lacking.
However, I've loved the Star Trek extended universe almost as much as I love the TV show. I read hundreds of the books as a kid and ever still have a few floating around the house somewhere.
So, the mix of the two is a bit rough, as is expected. The Borg/Cybermen team up is a fantastic concept and I can't wait to see what happens with it. However, the Doctor scenes were shaky, too often did the art rely on photoreferences from episodes that I've seen before, and the Egyptian sequence was entirely unnecessary. I did like the little twist at the end and the Stardate was a nice little touch (putting the adventure right before the Bozeman episode which is the very definition of a timey wimey episode).
All in all, if you're a fan of both series, you'll probably enjoy it, otherwise it's licensed fluff.
