If you're still that confused over what an accessory to a crime is, oh wells.

If you missed the part where Johnston talked about the people who told him this (making it not first-hand knowledge of anything and a rumor), I can't help that either.

(And Johnston already tried to back-pedal and say that what he meant by "worse than Savile" actually meant "worse for the organization if brought to light", not "a worse crime" than raping dozens of children.)

My point remains that there would be very few specific cases where RJ would be guilty of a crime here, even if he were a U.S. citizen, almost none, but I don't mean that to sound superior, no worries.

Just going by the quotes given here, as far as the idea that revealing this truth could bring trouble on his own head, what Johnston is talking about is UK slander laws. They're much stricter than they are here. Claiming someone said something--anything--that they didn't actually say can conceivably have you brought up in court.

Its hard to imagine what this could be. DC's early Mob ties have been public knowledge for a long time, as is its porn connection. I haven't heard of anything Marvel-related, except for its poor treatment of employees (and that's not likely to shut down a comic company).

This centers around one executive and something that allegedly occurred before they worked for whichever company it is (it's Marvel).

I saw a post on 4chan about Rich Johnson's claims that posited this all has to do with the allegedly widely known rumor (that I had never heard of before that post) regarding Marvel executive Isaac Perlmutter, his time in the Israeli army during the Six Day War of 1967, and something bad that occurred during that time. But that was just some asshat on 4chan saying that, as opposed to a widely known and for-some-reason-popular comic book journalist/blogger/whatever.

I have no idea what this is about and haven't been able to find anything in Google searches, though there was a racism scandal with Perlmutter a few years ago (but Johnston DID report on that).

I think it's only fair, being not proper journalists ourselves, that we guess what this news is.

I personally think Didio was caught with two underage prostitutes dressed up as Cass and Steph Brown spanking him with rolled up comics.
