Frank Cho is going to be illustrating a full length novel written by Bill Willingham. He's going to be using his intense ink line style.

It’s an unnamed fantasy book project about a daughter of an ancient god who tries to undercover her past and maybe save the world in the process. This book will have dragons, vampires, snow giants, werewolves and a talking chimpanzee.

He's also got a creator owned project he's working on for 2013 with Thomas E. Sniegoski.

I've never seen Frank Cho mention anything about working on a second story arc for Savage Wolverine.

Sad. I wanted to see more of Cho.

I'll hang with the series for a bit but I too am very disappointed to see Cho go.

I really didn't expect him to do more than 5 or 6 issue in a row. I doubt the book will actually last long enough for him to come back for another run. As far as I know nothing has been said about any other creators coming on the book past the Zeb Wells and Joe Mad issues. With Joe Mad on the artwork it's hard to say how long it will actually take for his issues to come out, although he did a pretty good job of getting out the few issues of Avenging Spider-Man than he drew.
