No, "JUSTICE!" Robinson is just horrible at writing characters that aren't so nebulously defined that he can just give them whatever characterization, dialogue, and/or backstory he wants. That is the only reason he can write Shade at all.

If you liked Starman, you WILL regret missing out on Shade.

I'm sure I'll live.
Unlike this Shade maxiseries.

And everyone here will rip up your picture.

You should have torn up your copy of DiDio's crappy Outsiders #29 LONG before now.
What kept you?? :P

Congratulations! You just described writing for the entire comics industry!

Your loss. Shade is great stuff.

I don't read crappy books. Which is why I don't have a copy of Outsiders #29. But if you do, that explains a lot. :P

The industry for the last 8 years or so, yeah.
Previously, there was less of a problem.

Your loss. Shade is great stuff.

No, my gain.
I don't have to tolerate Jimbo's crappy dialogue.

I don't read crappy books.

You read Cry for Justice; otherwise, you couldn't have commented on it.
"...good premise, but bad execution", remember?? :P

Which is why I don't have a copy of Outsiders #29. But if you do, that explains a lot. :P

IF I do.
Which I don't. :P

I don't have to tolerate Jimbo's infamous crappy dialogue.

WTF is this rank?

I would still be getting this if every fucking comic shop in my area hadn't closed. :smt013

Herald's irrational hatred of this book just proves that he actually hates comics.

Herald, I never said Cry for Justice was crappy. But it wasn't Robinson's best stuff. However, Casoli's art was very nice.

To be fair, you couldn't have commented on Outsiders #29 if you didn't have a copy.

So there. :smt019

Robinson's record remains unblemished on Times Past issues; #4 was awesome. Cooke's art was icing on the cake

You all know the only way to stop Herald is to post Asian gal pics. Only way to draw him away from his hatred of DC.

Wrong AGAIN!

I read it in the store.
I wouldn't waste my money on Dan's poorly-written garbage, not even if I'M one of the stars in it! :P

Yes you did. You bought it and ripped the page out to frame it on your wall. I would have.

Again, you said "...bad execution."

It means the same as "crappy"; it's just an attempt to polish up the criticism. :P

But it wasn't Robinson's best stuff. However, Casoli's art was very nice.

And that road leads to early '90s Image, where "nice art" is somehow supposed to excuse pitiful, shoddy writing like "JUSTICE!" Robinson's.

Sorry, but no.
The piss-poor writing negated the interest in having a copy of myself in comic form.

I would have.

Unlike you, I have standards. 8)
