Hank Pym guest stars (not a spoiler, as he's on the cover) and, like Waid over on Daredevil, Soule is making him kinda cool here. (Coincidence? Or a "Try to use Pym and make him cool" edict from Marvel, since there's an Ant-Man movie on the way?) Nevertheless, it shows the dangers of messing around with shrinking technology. And how badly "Honey, I Shrank The Kids" could've turned out. One thing threw me off.... there's a couple of references to Eric O'Grady in the present tense. Seeing as how he's dead (or believed dead), whatcha think? They just don't know he's dead? He's coming back? Something else? I dunno, just thought it was interesting. |
