This news is especially lutz-tastic in light of the fact that this week's DC books all have a multi-page house ad preview of Diggle's upcoming Action run in the back.

they may not have as much of a say as say Marvel with their properties, but they do have a say, Johns was co-producer and creative consultant for Green Lantern.

I read an interview from Snyder that described in detail w/o naming names that DC editorial had a consistant and constant presence on the set.

They have a say in what happens in that movie.

It just better be good.

I doubt they can overrule Nolan.

I keep saying this:

Bob Harras essentially destroyed Marvel for the better part of the 90s. The company was only pulled out of the doldrums when Quesada was given the EiC job. So he goes to DC and guess what: the company is fucked. They have managed to piss away every tiny bit of momentum that the DCnU brought in, and have pulled off the feat of alienating new and old time fans alike.

As Scoot says, if they lose Snyder they're fucked. Everything else is a shit sandwich right now, from top to bottom. Their Twitter feed just announced that Constantine was the first ever DC Comics series for the character, for instance: nobody has the first fucking clue about anything there anymore.

If Snyder leaves DC, they are done.

Don't be silly, Harras still has plenty of names on his rolodex.

Ben Raab, Terry Kavanagh.....

Yeah, but his ELEVEN PART "ZERO YEAR" doesn't exactly fill me with confidence...

Hahahaha.

I hope the big 2 monopoly ends soon. They're ridiculous. Good to see another writer step away. Indie comics are really on the up. Ill be glad when marvel and DC are a thing of the past.
