DC Shocker: Justin Jordan Walks Off Superboy

Another one bites the dust.

Source: Bleeding Cool

Bleeding Cool is reporting that Justin Jordan has walked off Superboy due to creative and editorial differences.  If you've been following his Twitter, you might have noticed a level of rising frustration in recent weeks.  I wonder if this had anything to do with it. This marks the second rising indie writer to leave a title in recent weeks, joining Ales Kot (although it appears that DC showed him the door as opposed to Jordan walking off on his own volition).

For what it's worth, Bleeding Cool is also reporting that Jordan won't be leaving the company entirely, and that his leaving Superboy won't affect his work on Green Lantern: New Guardians.

You know what time it is?  Counter reset time.

So... who's the editor on Superboy and who's the editor on GL: New Guardians?

Chris Conway is Editor, Matt Idelson is Group Editor on New Guardians

I do not think DC can go with him leaving GL as they already had enough problems keeping creators on those books.

So how many walkouts has it been currently? I seemed to have lost count myself as there are so many cases.

Just when the book had fully recovered from DeFalco writing it. :fury:

Close to ten if not more. But it has been a staggering number for 2013 of walk offs.

He tried and I am sure there was more editorial interference that Tom was putting up with just to keep his job.

Just like the good old days at Marvel where DeFalco worked with Harras, huh? Full circle obviously.

I wouldn't mind if Valiant, Dynamite or Boom also took DC's spot as well.

I'm ok with that.

DC should have 3 books. Batman, Superman and WW.

They really need to look in the mirror. Something is very wrong in that company.
