I love having her as a member of the Thunderbolts, but there's a huge part of me that also feels that the character may have developed beyond her position on that team.

I figured I'd just ask how others here feel about it.

I agree with you. I also think in part that the Avengers Forever series showing her as an Avenger helps. Plus, they've taken on former villains before as members.

True, but even with the name change, I don't know if I'm ever going to be able to see the Thunderbolts/Dark Avengers as an actual Avengers team. In my mind it'll be like the Great Lakes Avengers -- they have Avengers in their team name, but that's about it.

I don't mind them stringing it out a while longer, but I do think she should eventually become an Avenger-y Avenger.

Of all of the former villains that had ever been Thunderbolts she is the one with the most attitude and potential to be a bona fide Avenger.Heck,The Superhero Squad cartoon made her pretty much an official "Squaddie" which I suppose is the in-universe version of the Avengers.

She's been the moral center of the Thunderbolts for a long time now, if you ask me. I haven't read every single issue that she's been in, but the ones I have read within the last, what...6 or 7 years, she's clearly been a character who has moved well beyond "Screaming Mimi."

I think she'd be an awesome Avenger, as well...I think her powers are really visual, she's versatile, she's tough, she's paid her dues. She's experienced, as well...I think it would be really good.
