Yep, and to make it even clearer, he doesn't seem to have a single new idea in Inc. that he didn't already use in Batman & Batman & Robin. It's pretty plainly a retread job.

Considering that v2 of Batman Inc. is supposed to be the last chapter in his epic Batman story, that's not saying much.

Just because something is shocking doesn't mean it's bad. Who is a better writer than Morrison currently working for a big comics company?

That's not shocking to me. It elicits nothing more from me than a groan.

And if you're talking about 'big' comics referring to Marvel & DC, I rarely even bother reading that dreck anymore even when I buy it to resell, but Morrison's Inc #1 was as unimpressive to me as the rest of 'em.

I read many writers currently who I think are writing better comics than Morrison has in a while, but if you think you can draw me in to some sort of ranking system and arguing over each one of them, forget it. I have to get working this AM.

other than Joe and Sea Guy, I can't think of a recent Morrison book that wasn't totally overrated
