I have to admit that I was surprised to see so many people agree with me - I guess I've just been hanging out with the wrong crowds! HAHAHA :)

Yeah, this page wasn't good enough to warrant the ridiculous loading time.

Haven't read Spider-man since probably the awful issue where JJJ's wife dies or the fallout from that.

I can't really comment on the current output, but I've personally never read a Slott Spider-man that was very good, or really a Slott comic book that was good period.

I've only read two issues, but it seems to be a mix of the back in black and brand new day status quos to me. Spidey is more ruthless and somewhat trying to legitimize himself. I liked it, but it is weird.
Pull list: Afterlife with Archie, Bodies, Chilling Adventures of Sabrina, Coffin Hill, Dead Boy Detectives, The Fade Out, The Goon, Harley Quinn, Hinterkind, Iron Fist: The Living Weapon,The Maxx Maximized, Miracleman, Ms. Marvel, Multiversity, Rasputin, Rocket Raccoon, Sandman: Overture, Silver Surfer, The Walking Dead, Wonder Woman

Slott's early She-Hulk run was the best.

I'm trying to think of something as witty as Not Avengers, but I can't.

GLA was also tits. as was his Spidey/Torch mini. and I loved his Thing book, which never had a shot but was awesome.

GLA tried too hard imo.

IIRC the comedic Defenders mini ran at the same time, which was written by Giffen and DeMatteis really showed how unfunny GLA really was.

Slott desperately wants to be like the continuity knights from the 80's who held fast to continuity while telling solid stories, and he just can't do it.
