I do kind of like the possibility that Ock will be using his time as Spider-Man to lecture all the other superheroes about what they're doing wrong from his perspective as a former super-villain.

In a year or two we are going to see a story where Doctor Octopus returns and attempts to attack the Avengers. He won't even make it past the front door before he is soundly defeated and the only person he will have to blame is himself. The icing on the cake? Peter will be there to laugh at him and say "Thanks for the advice!"
