That is a problem. Who cares what the internet thinks, if you did, then you would not have published the article because it does have a slight
amount of controversy. Yet, you knew what you wrote and you published it, stand by your opinions unless they have changed on their own and not influenced by the crazies on Tumblr.
You weaken your opinion and standing of the original article by that follow-up posting, which in essence is saying, they got to you, they are influencing you and to admit you are wrong in your opinions. All the internet will do it dog pile you some more until your are nothing more than a lemming.
I'm not saying be a prick to everyone who disagree with your opinions but remember you posted it first, they are reacting to it in a manner that should not be that surprising, just move on and do not give them more fuel for another day of trolling.
