I cannot check right now but I'm sure diamond has archived order lists.

Sales are up across the board. This is an industry that sorely needed a boost, and it got it. How temporary remains to be seen

It's already sinking like the Sun in the West.

As mentioned, for all DC's Top Ten bluster, it can't even beat Marvel money-wise anymore.

and I've got a bit of heartburn about the NuDC, but at the end of the day it was a good move business wise. Frankly, with the move to the $3.99 price point I'd almost given it up, but the reboot not only got me back out of sheer curiosity, but I started picking up titles from other companies that I'd not in the past. Anecdotally, I'm not alone.

So the hype worked on you and those others.
Cases in point.

Problem is that, as mentioned, all the little deals that DC and the comic book stores have been offering are coming to an end. Plus, many people have been dissatisfied with the now-concluding arcs of books like the Johns/Lee JLA, and plan to dump those series.

Let's see what happens NOW...

Uh...yeah, I agree. Let's see. I might agree that the first JLA arc wasn't the best (putting it kindly), but I wouldn't drop it until I see what it's like after the five year jump. I'm pretty satisfied with the DC titles I'm currently buying. Granted, it's only a handful...and I worry about their long term prospects. But I'm sticking with them. You make it seem like the industry is doomed. I just don't believe that's true.

Going back would give them yet another big pay day would it not? I mean, they have so many books tanking ATM... rebooting back means cha Ching, no?

I'm glad that DC is doing well in the top 10, and I am enjoying more of their books than I am anyone else's.
