I'm this close to putting Blan on ignore. He contributes nothing constructive and apparently post just to serve his own ego (isn't there a word for that type of behavior?). He literally works very hard to find reasons (some real, most imagined) to support his compulsion to convince everyone that he is right and everyone else is wrong.

In my whole on-line life, I've only ever ignored two people (both back at the Rama). Blan/Nacireman was one of em because of the exact kind of shit he's pulling again. It's YEARS later and he's still doing it.

Einstein said that "insanity is doing the same thing over and over again and expecting different results". I guess this might explain to me the 'WHY' he constantly bitches.

I've tried to be civil and understand his 'why he feels the need to do this day in and day out' but there's never an answer, and all I'm left with is "haters gotta hate". How sad.

Legion fans are better than this guy. Outside of Bails & Thomas, we were the very first fandom. We brought the book back from the brink time and time again, we created members, picked who romanced who, voted who was to leader, etc. We were sad when they went away but were optimistic when they were replaced (something we had to do a number of times). Some things didn't work, most things did and throughout it all real Legion fans always cheered one thing because of our love of the team...

Long Live the Legion.

Maybe someday Blanacireman will join the chorus - only he can decide when or if.

LONG LIVE THE LEGION!

Oh gawd I hope not.

If so, one more reason for my now desired Fiveboot to happen and the ending of this Fourboot.

I gave the Fourboot a chance. It is still not what I wanted, it's worse because it comes so close to it, but then screws it out of being with a number of the choices they've made. It's looking more like the Threeboot then what I wanted.

Only two things are wanted by me concerning the LoSH -

A merging of the original/5YG/Reboot/Threeboot as in an Ostrandering of it all with the original being the dominant.

Or a near original continuing THAT MAKES SENSE AND NOT CHANGING THINGS FOR THE SAKE OF IT AS THEY'VE BEEN DOING!

20 fucking years of anything but what I want is enough! Stick the dark crap! Stick the soap opera/teen tv show crap! Stick ignoring the general continuity established that worked! Stop crippling or killing off characters! STOP TEASING ME WITH CHANGELINGS!!

How hard is it to tell good stories without screwing up the characters to a point where they barely resemble whom they are supposed to be? Apparently as hard as making pigs fly under their own power it seems. Even Levitz can't get them right. :smt011

One of my least favorite parts of the current version has been the constant trying to tie it in with the modern Earth-Zero. It really tries way too hard, and it feels a whole lot contrived at times.
DC should let the 31st century stand on its own for the most part, and not try to bind it to the 21st century so much, and vice versa.

They are trying to make too many ties to the main DCU continuity and to the point that all they can do are these stupid racism stories while destroying the characters more then not.
The reiterations with changes of whom they are and where they came from is just plan bad.
They aren't filling the holes they've generated. What has been going on post COIE compared to what originally went on? No, instead we get them telling us that this looks almost like that LoSH, but this is another one really.

A little loos binding to the modern era is fine, but they've always had that, Kal-El and Kara Zor-El.

Tying the two centuries together doesn't really work too well. It never really does.

It would work better if they went the "Lost" route where relevant flashbacks of the time between LSH #63 and Lo3W were mixed into the present. It'd solve a lot of problems, though it could drag the story in the present down.

I predict they'll get it right by the 12boot. I'm sure of it.

I'll admit that the last couple of issues have been a little better. Maybe because they weren't so Earth-Man centric. I did like Tyroc using his powers as an ultra-sound.

BTW, what happened to XS? Wasn't she supposed to be part of the team along with Gates? Did I miss something? Did Geoff Johns decide to pull rank and refuse to let Levitz use her?
