Carlton Banks was awesome. That's as misguided a pick as Starscream :smt011

I liked the Carlton dance as much as the next person but Carlton got on everyone's nerves all out. Look how many times Will has smacked him upside the head for saying something dumb.

Judging by the fact that Patrick Stewart was once one of People Magazine's "Sexiest Men Alive," I'd say that women love the bald. :P

Justice League of America -- the Detroit League era. I'm not sure of the exact issue though.

Both were clear Self-Insert Fic characters. JLA artist Chuck Patton made Dale Gunn resemble himself.

The team's first appearance: Justice League of America Annual #2 (1984).

Thanks, I have all those issues, but really didn't want to dive into my back issues to find out which one that panel was from. :)

Whereas I suspected that this was the correct issue, and had easy access to that run to confirm it.

Shocking. OK not really :P

It was hilarious how Byrne killed Terry long and the Long kids by having them drive off a cliff off-panel though. He must've really hated them too

Couldn't let these two go without saying the dreaded words "COUSIN OLIVER".

With Danny in particular, I especially agree with the words expressed on another page:

"As a tip, in a series about costumed superheroes with codenames, whose fans presumably enjoy reading about costumed superheroes with codenames, having a character who continually goes on about how lame costumes and codenames are and how he's too cool for a costume or codename probably isn't going to go down too well."

A rare Wolfman Whiff, indeed.

I believe that Scrappy Doo was the best example of the Cousin Oliver factor.

Wouldn't be surprised. Terry and his son were barely relevant at DC, so I don't think anyone really cared that they bought the farm.
