1. Best character - hands down Winter Soldier/Bucky. Who would have thought it could be done! And done so right!

2. Best DC book - Green Lantern

3. Best Marvel book - Captain America

4. Best Indy book - Buffy the Vampire Slayer. I mean come on! Joss is giving us what all us Buffy fans have been begging for.

5. Best writer - tie Brubaker/Geoff Johns, without a doubt. They're at the top of their game. If I have to choose one... Brubaker.

6. Best artist - George Perez is still the best and he's been proving it with Brave and the Bold

7. Best mini-series - I'm going with 52. It did end this year, right?

8. Best single issue - weird as it may sound the death of Captain America.

9. Best villain - Sinestro

10. Best new series - Booster Gold. Johns again!

Technically, it's a maxi-series. Miniseries usually last 6-7 issues. Most maxi-series are 12 issues.

Yeah I was thinking more of a 4-6 issue series

I'm flexible. If you guys want to include 52, I'm down

Yeah, it looks like it's coming down to a battle for best writer between Morrison, Johns and Brubaker........all great writers, IMO.

Me too. But I wouldn't be disappointed if Johns won either.

nor would I. and I like some of Morisson's stuff, but this year he seemed a bit more inconsistent than other years.
