I've thought about this. Maybe, have each comic reviewed count as 1 week of membership. A spotlight comic would be worth 2 weeks of membership.

The Rama group worked like this. Review a spotlight book and you become a member. Miss two weeks and you're gone. They also had members take turns, in the comic selection.

It'd be great for the front page.

I agree. I'm not great at doing reviews and although I've tried, it makes me feel uncomfortable, but something in this kind of format, I could probably get behind.

I'm all for it in theory, but I felt like the Rama one was too strict. There are some weeks where I just don't pick up my books if it's really light, or if I just can't make it. I'd prefer a more casual thing.

I'd agree with that. Also, it got kind of expensive at times. But I'd be willing to join an Outhouse version.

Same here.

I get my books monthly so I'd like to participate but I don't want all the rules.

We should just make one big thread and each week someone picks a book and we just review it when we get the chance. That way I could review all four books at the end of the month and have to double-dip. 8)

That sounds like elitist douchebaggery at its best.

I mean it's not a bad system as long as you go to the LCS every week but it really puts a limit on who can participate.
