I prefer them to be random... though some what connected... like how the sentinel wave was mainly mutants... and the Mojo wave had Longshot..

Mattel did the "theme waves" and thoughts were mixed. I like if i want the build a figure, i'd like to have figures that some how go with them.

that character is part of the 30th anniversary line.. basically its mattel designers, and geoff johns each designing a new character to be added to the universe. The 4 horse men created Draego-man who is a dragon like person. the original create a figure from the 80s winner that was never made Fearless Photog, Geoff John's has Sir Lazer Lot and the Mighty Spector is Toyguru (who runs the line) original entry from the 80s.

I don't think it would happen, but it would be funny if Hasbro made figures of them. If comicvine is correct, they appeared in a couple of Star (Marvel) comics.
