the Guardian's pack is very decent. I super glued the guns on Rocket and Starlord to make them look better on display

You dun goofed on buying the wrong MP Grimlock. If you bought the American version you get a nice shiny crown! :-D Also even if it's just the Japanese version it STILL is the best MP out there.

I only have Prime and Starscream from First Edition. I might snag me a Cliffjumper when TRU gets them. The Optimus Prime is really just so awesome. One of the best Prime molds I've seen.

Yeah I can see why Rocket's gun is so darn loose on his arm. Starlord though has his guns fit perfectly for me.

Thinking of picking up some of the Prime toys. Arcee, Cliffjumper and Bulkhead are readily available here. The others... not so much.

Arcee FE is probably the worst of the three. You're better off with RiD version.

cool

Curiosity to land in toy stores as new Hot Wheels rover

Soon after NASA's Curiosity rover lands and becomes the hottest set of wheels on Mars, it'll debut as the latest Hot Wheels to land on toy store shelves.
Mattel Inc., makers of the die-cast line of Hot Wheels toy cars, is ready to release the car-size Curiosity as its latest 1:64 scale miniature in September. The Hot Wheels "Mars Rover Curiosity" set is part of Mattel's assortment of 247 toy cars for 2012.

The real rover is set to touchdown on the Red Planet early Monday morning at 1:31 a.m. EDT. The landing comes eight months after the rover launched from Earth and will end with a nail-biting "seven minutes of terror," during which the Mars Science Laboratory (MSL) spacecraft will use its thrusters, a parachute, retro-rockets and finally a sky crane to lower Curiosity to the surface of a Martian crater.

The Hot Wheels Curiosity model doesn't include the MSL spacecraft's cruise stage, chute or sky crane rig, but does re-create NASA's $2.5 billion nuclear-powered six-wheeled rover as a $1.09 (average price) hand-pushed six-wheeled toy.

Definitely get the Cliffjumper FE, the RiD mold is subpar, almost as bad as Bulkhead's.

I wanted the Hasbro Grimlock, but I got a much better price on the TT version, under $200 with shipping. You're right though, King Grimlock > waiter, but the tray of drinks is kinda nice... oh and I got an apron and a bow tie too. :smt011

At least it also came with the smart helmet, at least I think that's what that thing is.

Does that Grimlock also get the changing eyes too? You can either have him in Marvel (red) or cartoon (blue) with the eyes?

MP-10 Optimus Prime!

I am definitely getting more of these MP's, I would have given my left nut for that Prime back in the day.

It's A Go: Mattel's Club Eternia and Club Infinite Earths for 2013

After much nail-biting, Mattel has announced that both their MattyCollector exclusives clubs - Club Eternia (Masters of the Universe Classics) and Club Infinite Earths (DC Universe Classics) - have both reached the minimum amount of subscribers needed to move forward in 2013. In the video below, Mattel's Brand Manger Scott Neitlich shares his excitement, an excitement (and relief) I'm sure many fans are feeling as well.

Snagged one of these at TRU. Haven't seen it before and haven't seen it on a peg since I got mine.
