What a total, total waste.

And, someone pointed out to me in the shop - someone really has it in for the guys who worked on the Batman books with Morrison. Quitely is who knows where. Philip Tan is doing He-Man, Andy Clarke was similarily booted out the back door, before being dragged back in to cover for Bimbo Cloonan's lack of talent and/or speed in the recent Batman issue about the nobody. Cameron Stewart has been discarded aswell. Frazer Irving is either doing fillins or is the actual penciller for The Shade, a book I couldn't give a shit about. Chris Burnham better watch his back.

Quitely is working on a creator-owned book with Millar.

"creator-owned" is just another word for "failure"

I'd say waste, rather than failure.

Although if it's Mark Millar, failure is also appropriate,

So, in Bass-speak it sounds like Marvel is firing Rick Remender off of UXF and it will be relaunched by some nobody The Bass has never heard of named....Daniel Way.

So, weep now Uncanny X-Force fans!

It really does suck. :|

I suppose RR is off to bigger things, but the book has been built up to be a pretty big seller and I can't see sales remaining as high unless Mr Way has grown considerably as a writer.

Way can handle Deadpool pretty well but he's no Remender.

It sucks that Rick Remender was fired off the book and will have do tricks for Johns to support his family. I am going to personally write Marvel a letter expressing my displeasure.

isn't that the history of X-Force in general

I mean, who was Rob Liefeld pre-X-Force?
Loeb?
Craig Kyle?
Christopher Yost?
Remender?

a bunch of jack offs I've never heard of

X-Force seems to be where Marvel puts these indy fucks when they want to force no names on the rest of us

I don't know why they can't just keep writers we know, like Stan Lee, Roger Stern, and John Bryne

DC is even worse! All these no names on major books like Action Comics! Where are the people we all know, like Joe Shuster and Jerry Siegel?

Well, if you buy 15,000 copies or so a month, you can probably keep the sales on the book high.

Yeah, there you go, bash the book if it's written by a Marvel writer, and not some indy jackoff whose wandered off the street with an Image miniseries that sold ten copies.

Way has worked on Wolverine, Deadpool and Ghost Rider, and is a a PROVEN writer. I hope you'll give the book the same time you'd give a book written by Nick Spencer, or whoever the fuck Marvel is lining up to tank Young Avengers.
