That's what I figured too.

I mean it absolutely doesn't make anything easier to understand but at least this issue things moved in the right direction.

Most things involving Captain Britain are lost on me. This is no exception.

Who was the red guy? It really seemed like that was meant as a big reveal to the readers, another of remenders many little homages to bygone days of all things X, but I have no fucking clue who that was meant to be! I like all of the Deadpool nerd references but do find otherworld and the Britain corps to be rather obnoxious, hopefully this arc will wrap up sooner than later.

#18 was my first issue and I really liked it, so I picked up the rest of the issues the LCS had. I liked the random issues of the Dark Angel Saga that I found, but 19.1 and 20 just weren't that good, IMO.

That is true. Keep in mind after this arc Phil Noto is taking over art duties.

I love this book and I love Remender BUT I hate Otherworld and Captain Britain. I feel, as apparently do others, that I'm missing a huge piece of the puzzle with whats going on. Also craptastic art isnt helping with this arc.

I was wondering the same thing. They built it up and then the reveal and I was just scratching my head.

It's as different from the Dark Angel Saga as night and day, and not just in the way of the shoddy and unclear rushed-looking artwork.

It's a huge misfire, but the success and acclaim of the first 19 issues might carry the book through if it improves soon. If this had been the first arc (forgetting the continuity issues for a moment), the book never would have made it to a second year.

Anyone got a pic of the red guy? Like I said, none of the shops here actually got any of these on the shelves.

This arc has been disappointing so far. The art hasn't helped either. I wish I knew how the red guy was at the end of this issue though.

Even the CBR X-Boards (UGH!) don't know who the red dude is.

But then they spent most of the thread talking about how fabulous Meggan is and other camp bullshit.

I guess according to an interview during the last arc, Remender mentioned several new villains that will be popping up, the red guy was one of them.
