Well, I gave it a chance, but this issue was fucking stupid.

The X-Men "defeat" Sinister who then evolves into a better version of him. Then Cyclops tells the Celestials that they will defend the Dreaming Celestial and they leave.

Storm and Namor end up being window dressing. Emma and Danger - two characters I hate - save the day. The cover is just a rehash of Schism and the Sentinel.

From beginning to end, this just sucked.

Yeah, this book fucking blows.

Suck it, Hab.

I don't know how the hell anyone could enjoy this.

I would LOVE for someone else to take over this book. Gillen has proven himself to be mediocre at best, as an X-writer. In fact, the only Marvel book of his I've liked is Journey Into Mystery. I'd take Bendis on Uncanny over him any day.

I would just be happier with a more likeable team.

They went from having an annoying character like Emma Frost (condescending, pretentious, etc.) to having a team full of them (Namor, Magneto, Danger, Dr. Nemesis).

Ugh.

I'm fine with the team on paper. It's the writer's job to make the team interesting. Another failing of Gillen's.

It's still a better book than it's counterpart.

And I like what they've done with Sinister.

yet, with Wolverine and The X-Men, the entire cast played a part in the first story arc. here it was mainly the Emma/Danger show..

Only if you mean that it's Hickman's Fantastic Four.

The art alone causes the eyes to fill with blood.

Yet who gives a shit?

It was a crappy story, I don't see how anyone could take it even halfway seriously.

It's like reading a Freak bros. version of the X-men.

yea, this has just been awful
what they've done to sinister is unreal and I stil don't understand what "story reasons" there were for the relaunch

but, the good news is Greg Land has an arc coming up

That would be Hickman's FF (Future Foundation). I love the writing, but the art of that book just ruins it for me.

Yeah, I love me some Hickman FF (both books) but I'm just about done with FF. Bobillo fucking blows.

Only really the last two issues, but, I agree, it could be better.

That being said that book is readable in comparison with Wolvies X-Men.

Uncanny X-Force is the best marvel book.
