It's a flop.

Ouch... it's down to 24k by issue 7?

That's bad... once a book hits ~20k Didio and company start fingering the "cancel" button.

Actually it might make perfect sense. Since the JL3K title started they have been deliberately "loose" with DCU history. They've said repeatedly that historical facts from the 21st century are sketchy due to a "Great Disaster" that occurred at some point after "our" time. The Great Disaster, if taken literally, is from the Silver Age Kamandi stories, right ?
They know that Barry Allen was the Flash but they thought he was red head. That wouldn't make sense in the New52 since Wally is now a black guy.
There has been no mention of Superman and Wonder Woman previously being in a relationship as in they are in the New52. In fact JL3K Diana has been sure that never happened.

So it may be possible that Giffen planned all along that this title was set in the future of the old DCU.

I bet that they're up to the double digits of replacing said button due to them being pressed to the point of being worn out.

Kind of like that one number key on you tv remote.
"Why are you pointing your screwdrivers like that? They're scientific instruments, not water pistols."
"Oh, the pointing again! They're screwdrivers! What are you going to do? Assemble a cabinet at them?"
"Are you capable of speaking without flapping your hands about?"
""Timey" what? "Timey wimey"?"

There are two of them I guess so instead of 500 years, we get 1000.

(Don't be talking to me about there being no good 70s music Old Doc! listen what we had for TV themes!)

Or more probably, it was supposed to be the Legion morphed into the JLA3K.
