Casanova vol. 3 was just as good as 1-2.

Really? I found the final issue to be incoherent-for-the-sake-of-incoherence. Issues 1-3 were above average, but nowhere near up to the standards set by the first two volumes.

I might try Fantastic Four, but I don't really care for Fraction.

FF looks pretty damn great. Obviously the Allred art makes me think of X-Static, but it's an interesting lineup (I'll reserve judgement on whoever the lady in the Thing body is). I'm already committing to at least an initial arc.

I agree with the way too close Doctor Who comparison and as for the extended journey exploring a universe, John Bryne did that almost 30 years ago.

Bagley is the only thing to draw me in so far.

Huh. Just two days ago in an article about the upcoming "Indestructible Hulk", Waid took a catty pot-shot at DC (and Superman) by saying:

.. it's not like anyone looked at Hulk, the strongest and toughest character on Earth, and said, "Y'know what he needs? He needs armor. Maybe a Nehru collar." Trust me, we're smarter than that."

Can Doom take over the world in 4 minutes? What about Galactus? Etc.

B/c if you've really got a time machine, you could easily plot it to come back 1 minute later, or the same time, etc. But here the pick is 4...I really hope there's something coming from that other than just being cute with the book's title number.

Fraction wrote:Ant-Man and his group stand guard for the four minutes, but nothing happens. Three weeks later, a one-eyed, one-legged, long-haired, half-insane, bearded Johnny Storm walks through the time gateway, shuts it behind him and says, "We can never open this door again."

I don't think I'm interested in the adventures of Doctor Who, I mean F4. Might try out FF but even that seems unlikely.

Those are not nehru collars. Just the FF suits going up to the necks. Like they've done for years now.

Maybe I'm alone here, but I'm not a fan of Allred's work. On top of that, I don't really like the cast of FF. So that's probably a no go for me.

FF sounds awesome. I'm so far behind on Hickman's run, it'll take me forever to get to Fraction's stuff but I'm looking forward to it.
