This was a damn solid read and given Ron Marz track record of dealing with characters and female leads, it was a given that he'd do a good service with this. Hell, even in the dressing room, he found a good way to make the other strippers sympathetic and likable. Just because a person is a stripper doesn't mean they're bad people, which always made me shake my head about people who were against this book and a lead being a stripper.
It was also given to us in interviews that the stripping was pretty much only in the first issue due to Voodoo being "undercover" and we see that explained more in this issue, even when she quits her job and goes onto the next mission. And man, great ending. I wonder just how deep she's going to get into the government and learn their secrets.
Damn good pacing, well written characters, and gorgeous art. I'm on for next issue!
