A better issue then #1. I still fucking hate John though, what an asshole. Kyle was good, and it was great seeing him be the torchbearer being the one to all those GLs who wanted to kill Sinestro that this was wrong and be the one roadblock for them all.

What does everyone think though of the end? With the Smurfs and Ganthet? Dem eyes again from them. So what's that mean?

[Reveal] Spoiler: Click to Expand
Ganthet hands the body of Krona to Atrocious. However as he closes the portal linking him to the Red Lantern homeworld he turns to find the Guardians behind him. He informs them he had to do this, but the Guardians say that's not why they're here to discuss. They're eyes are all black save for the green lantern symbol it their pupils. The next panel we see Oa and Ganthet screaming.

Now there's the most apt mis-spelling I've ever seen!

There was no screaming was there? Just a shot of the Guardian's citadel and the sun.

No, no actual screaming. Although, based on the panels that were drawn, I can see how that impression may form. It did look like the guardians were up to something nefarious.

Right, it’s time to kill those fucking blue bastards right now, the Guardians are just twats right now, they’re just so annoying. Gah, I hate them. This issue was solid, I’m still digging the aftermath of the crossover way more than the actual crossover, there’s so much discord amongst the Lanterns, it’s going to be exciting to see where the new books will take this. I even started to warm up to Sinestro as GL here, maybe because Bedard isn’t as in love with the guy as Johns is. The art was a mixed bag once again, but it’s cool to see Ransom Getty on a Big Two book, I like his work on Guarding The Globe. Also good to see Kyle Rayner kick some ass, but if he’s the new Earth Lantern, surely the new #1 should be about him, not Sinestro?

no i don't think they meant that he was the new Earth GL just that he needed to be away from Oa, and needed time off, that's what i got from that exchange.

I know what you mean. On one hand, I thought that this was supposed to be the issue where they announced who the new Green Lantern of 2814 was supposed to be. On the other hand, it didn't exactly feel like the Guardians were saying "hey Kyle, go be the Green Lantern of Earth for awhile." It was more like "Kyle, you need some time off."

That's how I took it, too.
