Justice League - WTF, 7 issues in and I hate all of them. I love Geoff on GL but he cannot write these characters at all. Hugely disappointed.

I agree with many that johns and lee blew the jl relaunch
Robinsons cry for justice is also a failure.
Pretty much every jla project for that matter. It hasn't been must read since before infinite crisis.
In fact the jlu comic book was miles better than any jl book in the last 10 years.
But I will say the jli brightest day book was pretty good, which surprised me to no end

Rucka's Punisher run was a huge blow. I was incredibly excited for it, and I dropped it after nine issues. I was very disappointed in the pace and direction of the story.

Dan Slott's Amazing Spider-Man has been a letdown. Not that I was looking forward to it -- I absolutely wasn't -- but after Brand New Day, I thought, "Okay, it can't gets much worse. Bring on Slott!" Somehow, Slott's run might actually be worse than Brand New Day, because we can't use the "too many cooks in the kitchen" excuse anymore. It's been horrid, actually.

The rest of my disappointments are things that I enjoyed greatly but ended up being cancelled -- stuff like Spider-Girl/The Amazing Spider-Girl, The Eternals, and Darkwing Duck. Those hurt the most.

Eric Stephenson recommended that Nate Simpson wait until more issues were in the bag. It's not Image's fault they didn't listen to him.

Damn, in every interview I've ever read he manages to be more candid and less of a dick than almost anyone in roughly the same position doing interviews and promo stuff.

It was a pretty great AMA. He even handled a couple of obvious troll comments with a fair amount of tact.

In contrast to, say, certain comparable Marvel personnel who troll people on message boards like juvenile bullies in a schoolyard.

It's been 13 months since issue 1 came out. I realize that he broke his collarbone but that was in October 2011.

Did you mean to respond to me or BM? I know, plus like I said it's was supposedly 2/3rds done since late January or thereabouts.

So yeah, no one is making light of his injury and hopefully he mended up okay. But add to that a slow creative process and, it sounds like to me, having to flesh out the whole story for Hollywood execs first, plus rumors of Simpson having to do other work to pay off medical bills=one late ass second issue and a real sense of lost momentum here.

Incredible Hulk--shitty, lazy, stupid writing. Shitty, lazy, sloppy art.

Amazing Spider-Man--same shit, different issue.

I can't think of a third one.

Disappointing books:

NuDC... 90% of it. Superman, Action Comics and JLA have been horrendously bad. Barry is back (horrible) and Babs is back as Batgirl despite being a better character as Oracle. :smt011

Green Lantern Rebirth - A yellow fear demon? Really? :smt011

Identity Crisis - Loved issues 1-6 and 7 just ruined the whole story for me. From the motivation to the flamethrower to the fact that none of the best detectives and superheroes on earth (and some from off planet too) could not figure it out. :smt011 :smt011 :smt011

The entire NuDC can be split into three catorgories, really

-Books that were a disaster on paper. Static Shock, Hawk And Dove, etc, etc. Currently being held by the new Liefeldverse

-Books that sounded promising on paper and yet, have failed. Resurrection Man (which I blame entirely on the art), Batman, Superman.

-Books that sounded like a disaster, and yet, have stumbled forward, blinking into the light.. Animal Man.
