Read them both and enjoyed Northlanders, though I don't know if I'll pick up teh next or not, because they're stand alone volumes. At least so far. I may have to pick the second volume of Young Liars, if only to make sense of the first.

Finished BoD. I'm not sure that I remember ever reading Doom's origin before, but I enjoyed it quite a bit. The way Brubaker handled the continuity at the end was cool.

I read this...

It was awesome. It starts off a little slower than Monster, but it is a more compelling mystery and the characterization happens much quicker, maybe because the cast is a bit larger at the onset. It is also, while not all ages friendly, much less mature than Monster... the juxtaposition of the characters as youth and as adults is masterful... the young friends have an almost Goonies/Stand By Me quality to them, getting to watch them mature seems like it will be pretty cool as well.

I'm a good 10 days away from my BOC.

Two Urasawa books and SP5. I have no idea what I'm going to do when I have to decide what to read first.

flip a coin... I will be reviewing Pluto, but things distracted me the last few weeks and I am behind so I am going to pound out some easier reviews and am holding off on Pluto for a couple days. I am going to read this next though:

Finished up Young Liars. Not as good as I was hoping for. May pick up the next volume when it comes out.

Just started in on the second Hellboy trade - Wake the Devil.
